When visiting Ayvalık do not forget to try its famous Ayvalık Toast and then at sunset head up to şeytan sofrası (Satan’s Feast) to catch an absolutely breathtaking view that can’t be missed of the entire Aegean Coast. Entrance is free and parking is very cheap.
On Cunda Island, we recommend stopping in the morning at Taş Kahve (Stone Coffee House) where you can enjoy a Turkish coffee and breakfast overlooking the water. After that you can check out both the Necdet Kent library (free entrance) and Rahmi Koç müzesi (museum and 10 lira entrance), but affordable ways to spend time on Cunda.
